Jill Paradis, BA, CFSP, principal and founder of Culinary Translations, has been involved with training various groups for over six years.
She has a background in the development and execution of a bilingual curriculum for a national non-profit organization, Share Our Strength’s Operation Frontline. Operation Frontline teaches low income women about Food Safety,
nutrition education, and cooking skills.
She has worked as a volunteer for Taste of the Nation and The March of Dimes ‘Signature Chefs’ event.
In addition, Jill has worked extensively in Colorado’s Hispanic communities:
she has been involved in literacy projects
emphasizing adult education, worked as a bilingual advocate
for a domestic crisis hotline
and helped coordinate and facilitate the
University of Colorado Latino Cancer Prevention Network.
Jill volunteers her time at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos International
in the Dominican Republic,
a home for orphaned and abandoned children.
She is also an Advisory Board Member for Colorado Mountain College Vail, Eagle Valley Campus.
